First American Committed to Supporting Local Communities

Fairport, NY (December 29, 2009) - The employees of First American partnered with the Charles Settlement House to provide local senior citizens with a holiday luncheon and "Guardian Angel Tree" gift program this holiday season. First American and CSH volunteers also participated in distributing food baskets to over fifty families in need.
Senior citizens weren't the only recipients of First American employees' generosity, as they adopted thirty-five children through the 2009 Angel Tree Program. Children in the Angel Tree Program are referred by local service agencies, including the Charles Settlement House. Additionally, having the ability to adopt a family this year, was a gift afforded to the employees of First American's California office. For the second year, they were able to adopt a family through the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
The Charles Settlement House is an organization serving the residents of Northwest Rochester for more than 90 years, providing programs in preschool development, youth development, family services, senior adult services neighborhood capacity building.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Christian voluntary organization whose members are men and women striving to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need.
